About Ocaris
Ocaris Wealth Management Ltd is a Company established on strong moral principles based on trust and the strong belief that we can provide an advisory service second to none. Founded in 2021, with the purpose of developing a technologically enabled proposition that delivers the highest quality of service and advice with the client at the core of everything we do.

Jimeel Angel APFS MCSI RLP
Managing Director
Jimeel founded the business in 2021 out of a desire to build a business with trust, honesty and integrity at its core, delivering high quality advice and service through a technologically enabled business.
Jimeel is a Chartered Financial and Life Planner with over 25 years of industry experience. He started his career in 1997 as a stockbroker locally, after which he moved to London to become an International Equity and Foreign Exchange dealer. Jimeel made the move in to financial services in 2001, where he worked for two of the industry’s largest insurance companies, AEGON and AXA, before becoming an independent financial adviser in 2012. Whilst in this role he worked to gain Chartered status.
Jimeel’s passions are his family and helping people actualize their dreams by aligning their financial wellbeing to their life goals.
Jimeel is a family man and proud father of two. Away from work, he enjoys running, paddle boarding, snowboarding and all aspects of cycling. He holds belts in five different martial arts including black belts in both kung fu and kickboxing.

Tom Hughes BSc HONS
Operations Director
Tom has 16 years’ experience in the financial services industry having joined the Ocaris Team from JPMorgan.
Tom was responsible for several roles whilst at JPM, most recently as Trading Services Director with oversight of multiple functions globally within the Investor Services line of the company.
At Ocaris, Tom is excited to develop first class solutions and analytics in support of an outstanding product and client service team.
Tom is married and a proud father. To relax, Tom enjoys football, golf, cricket, food and walks with the family Labrador.

Jacqueline McGill BA Hons APFS
Head of Advisory Services
Jacqueline has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Her career started in banking before taking a 4 year career break to obtain a degree in Financial Services. Jacqueline was then employed for 10 years by AEGON as a senior sales consultant after which she became an independent financial adviser. She has continued to study during her employment and qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner in June 2013.
Jacqueline treats the advice provided to her clients with the same care and attention to detail as she applies to her own financial affairs.
Jacqueline is married with 3 children and, away from work, she enjoys all aspects of cycling, skiing and walking with her family and dog in the New Forest where she lives.

Rian Timmins Dip PFS
Independent Financial Planner
Rian has been employed in the financial services industry for 8 years starting his career in retail banking, finishing as a Branch Manager. Rian then moved into financial planning and qualified as an Independent Financial Planner.
Rian’s passionate about helping his clients develop a plan that gives them confidence in their financial future, enabling them to make great financial decisions and live fulfilling lives.
Away from work Rian lives in Bournemouth with his wife. He enjoys playing sport and keeping fit, playing for a local rugby club and being part of a running club.

Mike Crossen Dip FA MLIBF
Chairman
Mike has over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry starting his career with National Provident Institution (NPI) back in 1980 where he spent 25 successful years finishing as the Branch Manager of their Southampton office. This was followed by 15 years as an IFA and Director of a large firm of Independent Financial Advisers in Southampton, where he headed up the company’s Investment Committee amongst other senior managerial roles. Here, Jim, Jacqui and Mike worked together for nearly 10 years.
Mike is also a proud family man with two grown up children and is a keen walker, golfer and sailor.

Chris Selfe BA HONS DIP PFS
Independent Financial Planner
Chris became a financial adviser in 1993 having graduated from Stirling University in Scotland. He initially worked in London, before joining Friends Provident on the south coast in 1995, where he gained a particular interest in inheritance tax and investment planning.
Chris has spent the past 20 years working with a local IFA firm, where he created a team specialising in providing pensions and financial planning advice to high-net-worth clients, including many airline pilots. Jacqui and Jimeel were founding members of this team.
Chris delights in spending time with his young daughter. He is a keen mountain biker, both in the UK and abroad, and has more recently started road biking. He enjoys skiing, gardening, fitness training and has for many years competed in various forms of motorsport. Chris is also a member of Sporting Bears Motor Club - a dedicated group of classic and sports car owners who aim to raise money for children’s charities by offering Dream Rides and supporting charitable events.

Sue Crossen
Head of Client Services
Sue has over 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry having previously worked for NPI (National Provident Institution) and then Marsh McLennan before joining a large regional firm of independent financial advisers as a senior administrator.
Sue has previously worked closely with Jimeel, Jacqui and Mike and is excited to be a part of a company whose foundations are based on integrity and providing the highest level of advice and service to its clients.
Sue is dedicated to delivering an outstanding service to all clients and works tirelessly to achieve this.
Sue is married and is a proud mother of two grown up children. Away from work, she enjoys walking the family dog, gardening, and fair-weather sailing.

Chris Banks
Strategic Adviser
Chris has spent a lifetime in the financial services industry founding a series of highly successful businesses ranging from Actuarial to Wealth Management companies and particularly the Private Pension industry.
He was one of the founders of the Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) industry 30 years ago and in 2009, founded Curtis Banks Plc which is one of the largest SIPP providers in the United Kingdom.
Allied to his comprehensive industry knowledge and his wealth of connections in the sector, this will guarantee the ability of Ocaris to become a leading player and to achieve its ambitions in the market.

Carly Thornton
Client Service Manager
Carly has been employed in the financial services industry for 11 years.
Carly was first employed by her father, who was a partner with St. James’s Place Wealth Management. She assisted with all aspects of the day to day running of the business which enabled Carly to gain a wealth of experience and build her industry knowledge.
Carly progressed within St James’s Place, ultimately becoming a client servicing specialist.
Carly is extremely organised with an attention to detail and a drive for excellence in everything she does. She has a bright outlook and a warm nature which enables her to develop meaningful client relationships.
Carly is a dedicated mother to her two children. She is very sociable and loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys playing netball and is a member of a netball team.

Kirsti Murphy
Client Service & Paraplanning Manager
Kirsti has been in the financial service industry for more than 12 years initially working for product providers Aviva and Old Mutual Wealth, before starting to work directly with clients in wealth management when she joined the Coutts Hampshire office in 2014. She holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice and is working towards Chartered Status.
Kirsti is committed to provide excellent client outcomes by working closely with the rest of the Ocaris team and to provide clear, easy to read suitability reports and client communication in general.
She is delighted to have joined such a dynamic, forward-thinking team that she has found with Ocaris.Kirsti is married and a proud mom of a teen and a tween that keep her busy together with the family dog Cillian.
She loves skiing and travelling with the family, exercise, and long walks with the dog. -
Naz Nosrati BSc HONS
Client Service & Analytics Associate
Naz has recently graduated from Loughborough University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with Economics.
As a graduate, new to the financial services industry, Naz is eager to put to use skills developed over the course of his education at Ocaris. This, combined with his previous retail experience means Naz joins with a blend of soft skills combined with a sharp analytical thought process upon which to build.
As well as continuing his education, including an Investment Management program and other self-development courses, Naz plays a wide array of sports, including MMA, football, badminton, and table tennis. He has a very sociable nature and loves quality family time – being an uncle to 6!

Harriet Crossen BSC Hons
Client Service Associate
Upon graduating from the University of Bath in 2018, Harriet qualified as a schoolteacher and dedicated the following 6 years to this profession. After becoming disillusioned with the profession, she wanted to take on a new challenge. Harriet is passionate about helping people and this is what attracted her to a role with Ocaris and an aspiring Financial Life Planner.
Harriet is able to transfer the many skills she has honed in her career to date and apply them to her role at Ocaris. Deep listening and genuine care are key strengths which will pave the way to a successful future. Harriet has a thirst for knowledge and is looking forward to working within a team of highly skilled individuals alongside studying for her financial planning exams.
In her free time, you’ll find Harriet sea swimming all year round! She enjoys socialising with friends and family and playing most sports - especially netball where she is a level 2 qualified coach and once played at high performance level.

CII – APFS
The Chartered Financial Planner is a qualification for professional financial planners awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute. By definition, holders of the Chartered Financial Planner qualification are among the most experienced and most qualified advisers in the profession; in the United Kingdom, it is a widely accepted 'gold standard'.
The Privy Council authorised the CII to issue the Chartered title in 2005. Thus, a Chartered Financial Planner now carries comparable qualifications as other established professions such as Chartered Accountants and Chartered Surveyors.
Ocaris is working towards becoming a chartered firm which is expected to be in 2025.

CISI – MCSI
Attaining full Member status indicates a high level of knowledge in financial services as well as a commitment to the principles of professionalism, integrity and excellence. It is both a sign of achieving a higher level financial qualification, and of a desire for professional development to senior levels.
It is also a tangible demonstration of their commitment to ethical behaviour – all CISI members must complete an integrity test as well as sign up to a code of conduct.

A Registered Life Planner (RLP) is a designation for financial professionals who specialise in the human side of financial planning. Life planners know that peoples' goals, values, and personal experiences are inextricably tied to financial well-being.
They are trained to take a person's entire self into account when building financial strategies, to set people up for holistic financial success.

FCA Authorisation
FCA regulation or authorisation means that a consumer can trust the firm. It ensures that the firm treats all consumers in compliance with the strict criteria laid out by the FCA.
As a result, consumers do not have to do extra research on the firm in making their final call.
